Epilepsy Hall of Fame

So, I went on Epilepsy.com and discovered their hall of fame.(http://www.epilepsy.com/node/985372) It is a list of well known people with Epilepsy. I was somewhat disappointed. Their was no girls! Many artists and warriors. But.no girls. Really? I felt a little better when Edgar Allen Poe's name popped up. But,are boys more likely to have epilepsy than girls? We shall find out! But,check out the list..it's nice.

My letter to Ms.Lori

Hi Ms.Lori,

After my Dad gave me the Shawl and letter. I was so happy. I didn't know someone was putting so much effort into making me feel better. I was actually having a bad day! So,this just made things better. I really appreciate you also reading my blog. I didn't really think too many people were. I think it's really cool you can knit. I can't sew or knit. :)I'll put your shawl to great use.Thank you for your shawl and support.

Hmmm... New neurologist?

So,I haven't posted anything in awhile. But,last week or so..I got back the results back from my ambulatory EEG. I had at least one seizure in my sleep.And,some things that looked like seizures. My new neurologist is going to go over them with me. New neurologist.  New neurologist. New neurologist? I'm going to miss Dr.Lebron. :( . ....At the moment I feel like "blah"! It will be good. My new doctor went to Harvard and he's more of a specialist in these kind of seizures. But, I still feel like "blah".. Well, I will update y'all tomorrow.

What a weekend..

At the moment my life is calm. The weekend is coming to an end and it was a good weekend. I spent most of it at a swim meet. I saw two movies with a wonderful friend. I got a friend back . And, lastly I learned some wonderful news! Obviously, I need some more adjutives! Now starting on my health. It is A-okay! Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me. I really appreciate it. :) I am waiting for my ambulatory EEG results back. I really hope they shed some light on why all this has been going on..... Another thing I found this walk that supports epilepsy research. It brings alot of people out. Including foot ball players, governors and more. At the moment I cannot remember the name or find the magazine with the article. But, I'll let you know , I need to hit the books.Bye.:)

Update.

As my ambulatory EEG comes to an end I thought that I should let you guys know how things have gone. I guess they are somewhat good. I bascily had the wires hooked up to my head as if I was having a regular EEG but, I had a guaze wrapped around my head. It looks like I had brain surgery. I say had because it has manged to slip off my head. I hope that hasn't messed up anything. But, all the wires are seperataded into to groups. They go into two center plugs that then plugs into one. This one  goes into a small box that I have to carry around.It sounds complicated but it's not. I have a bag to put it in but,uumm. It's not my style.:) Along with all this I have a camera to record me sleep. It's huge and 30 pounds! The small box I have to carry around hooks into it. When I plug the small box in it starts recording. Besides,the Gauze coming off its kind of unnoticeable. At times I forget about it. Im not so worried about school. I somewhat have everything together for returning to school. Sooo..that's about it.:)

long time no see.

So,this is a quick one. I haven't been to school since Thursday of last week. I was in the hospital Thursday through Saturday. Then Sunday through Tuesday I had alot of seizures. Yesterday, I had an EEG. It was normal. Now today I am finishing my homework. I missed alot of school. Then,next week i'm going to miss three days for an ambulatory EEG. For three days I will have all the wires on my head. It will go every where I go. I will also have a video camera. I hope it comes off when I go to the bathroom. And I can't take a shower. Yuck. But, it's going to help me though. Hmm. At, the moment things seem to be out of my hands. It's kind of stressing me out.Well, it's mostly my school work. I'm going to be really behind. But, I'll catch up. Gotta go do the work I have  now. Bye.

Oh,yea my burns are somewhat healed.You can't really see them. :)

I burned my eyebrows!

this is deasia and i'm at nicole's house and this chick put nair on her eyebrow and burned herself! smh.
hi i'm gigi  and i am also at nicoles house i am still trying to figure out y she tryed to nair her eyebrows but anyway who am i to judge.lol anyways bye...:)Well here she is....

Thanks Deasia and Gigi for that nice introduction. Well,this morning I discovered that Nair is not good for your eyebrows. I also  forgot that i'm allgeric to it to. How I did that I do not know. Now, there are 2 large burns below my eyebrows. It was worse before now the burns are hardly noticeable.:) Now,we have to get to school.
